Koma Elektronik instruments production
2020
Within 2020, thanks to the experience I held in restoration of electroacoustic pianos, I was employed by Koma Elektronik for the production of the RH301, FT201 and BD101 synthesizer pedal as well as their more recent field kit educational units.
Working at Koma taught me a lot about the inner logistics of a small synthesizer/instrument production company as well as the process of scaling an instrument prototype into a fully accessible product.
P.S: While working at Koma, I started developing an idea of producing sonic sculptures which consisted on creating generative sound design pieces which would be distributed within electronic portable open circuits.
Thanks to the technical assessment I was able to receive during this job, I concluded on the difficulty of developing interactive musical experiences though hardware. This drove me to start exploring the full possibilities of digital interactive musical experiences.
